She's using everything she learned from and loved about the tribute to Frances Faye, and she's developing her own unique style and stagecraft. She has enlisted the wonderful reed player, TONY MALFATTI, to help create the 7-piece band arrangements of some great tunes, including "Out Of This World," "You're My Thrill," "Frankie And Johnnie," "Ain't That A Kick In The Head," and more! A combination of swingin' Rat Pack Chick, and stand-up comedienne, Genecco's latest is sure to be another crowd-pleaser and a big award-winner! "It's an offer you can't refuse!" See you at The Plush Room!

SOLD OUT AT THE M BAR IN HOLLYWOOD!! - August 31, 2007

It was a swingin' night in Hollywood last night at the SOLD OUT M Bar and Restaurant! Terese was on fire, and the newest combo of Southern California rhythm section and Northern California horn section, turned the *little big band* into one of the hottest incarnations of the group to date. With the legendary percussionist, Jack "Mr. Bongo" Costanzo, sharing center stage with Terese (and Terese playing bongos with Jack during the breakout hit of the evening!) it was a smokin' night of your favorite songs. In attendance were Russell and Gina Garcia! Russ arranged and conducted several Frances Faye recordings in the late fifties and early sixties, as well as composing for film and television. He and Gina were in L.A. working on a recording project of all-original compositions sung by Terese's dear friend, Shaynee Rainbolt, who was also on hand last night. Shaynee sat in and sang two of these special tunes with the band and gave us a sneak preview into what looks to be a very special project! Also in the house were cabaret luminaries Andrea Marcovicci, Ray Jessel and Cynthia Thompson, Shawn Ryan, and Staci Sullivan, plus loads of other singers and entertainers from the L.A. area, including Rachelle Fox, (featured soloist with the L.A. Master Chorale,) Maxine Lapidus (Emmy winning television comedy writer,) Mary Jo Mundy, Les Michaels, Keri Kelsey, and the list goes on! Despite the Hollywood heat wave (it was 110 in the shade!) Joe Reynolds and the staff at The M Bar kept patrons cool, well-fed, and drunk on booze while Terese had 'em drunk with love! It was a great night, Hollywood! Terese will be back in early '08 with DRUNK WITH LOVE: THE SEQUEL!
